Edward R Murrow See It Now on TVS History.Com

As the programmers at the TVS Television Network have searched for great historical TV from the past 60 years, they came across a great edition of the Edward R Murrow 'See It Now' show from CBS in the early 1950's. At a time when TV was far from mobile, CBS attempted to 'span the globe' and make TV a true window to the world. You can imagine how difficult it was to arrange for remote productions from around the USA and surely viewers were stunned at the ability to visit different cities around the USA live- or nearly so. This edition even trumpets 'next day video' from the troops in Korea. At the time, it was a miracle!

This is the early days of TVS History.Com, one of the 48 IPTV channels from TV4U.Com. We're enearthing 'the restof the story' with video of Nixon's Checkers speech and other such visual history that has made TV news so relevent over the past 60 years.
